He definitely needs to cool it with the press and any social media... because the bloodsucking media certainly can't help themselves. The fact they got these comments from him and the views it will garner them will only make them reach-out to him more and more.

He can’t voice his concern with his kid carrying the ball way too much? Of course he can, but, he shouldn’t be mentioning it to Steve Simple. I mean, you got Spam McKewon (sp?) and Simple in the article … talk about mental midgetry at its finest. What a gigantic nothing burger turned into a manufactured controversy by possibly the two dumbest and least talented “writers” in the State. Sums up the state of the program for the last 20+ years

Why is the article claiming to be a "he-said / he-said" issue.

- After Friday's game, JR Taylor was upset.
- On Saturday JR said that the NU coaches "were going to call MS staff."
-
Sunday, Sam reached out to MS about NU reaching out to them & they said that hasn't happened.

Well that's no "he-said / he-said" issue. It's quite possible and actually most likely that the NU coaches just hadn't reached out to the MS staff yet, assuming they said they planned to.

Idk, just seems dumb to imply somebody is lying here whether that be JR Taylor, Rhule or Mendenhall.

I agree. The media should be replaced everytime there is head coaching change. Sick of all of them. Do they even report anything negative anymore? No. They tip toe around like little bitches so they dont lose their media badge. So, what's the point of listening to their bs?

50% completion pct and had to run the ball 20+ times? In high school??

Yeah I know everything I need to know about him. Hope he's not everyone's "wait to see how he is before firing Rhule" guy

How would you know what really happened. Plenty of passes were dropped.

I was at the game and Trae and Pittman are the real deal and he wanted the ball and knew he could make plays with his feet.

I have zero doubt you spend a lot of time watching underage kids

Thanks for confirming, weirdo

I bet he would cool it if there was a coaching position opening for him on the staff! Lol

Everything about this program is a Mickey Mouse, clown show. 0% chance Taylor sticks with us if we go 5-7 or 4-8. ZERO.

Depends on the money. Colandrea is getting 2.5 million...IF Colandrea has a GREAT year he could very well leave for a better situation. If he is injured or bad he could easily be replaced as he doesn't really scale well to the NFL and no reason to force a Senior to play if you have a good youngster. So it is highly likely there will be a lot of money available for Trae and nobody gives out more money needlessly than Nebraska. I don't know how much Rhule cares to get more years here, but just having a 5 star coming in might be worth a million or 2 even if he never plays.

What did the program do here...precisely?

Because from the way the story reads the answer is...nothing.

But I dont want that to get in the way of good drama...

Oh don't get it twisted. They just sit back and wait until they catch wind that the change is in the way. THEN they come outta the woodworks with all the **** they seen, heard, and know.

"Let me tell you guys this...one day (insert head coach). It's rinse and repeat. I rarely listen to anything they say. Simple may be the worst of them all. But Sean is generally the one who "has a story to tell".

I guess it's called playing the game but I hate it. Don't wait till it's over and then start kicking the guys and telling "the truth" about all the **** you know. Hard to respect that for me.

He ran it 24 times, and was apparently calling for the ball (to run it when they needed the yards). QB doesn’t sound like a prima Donna
Dude wants to win and did what it took to do that. His line was pretty much *** all night.

Funny how some people have a problem with him running it that much to win a game. But cheered the **** outta Nebraska QBs for years who "ran to win" and called it "putting it in the line" for your team. I swear we have some weirdo fans. Switch stances like politicians to suit what or who you like/don't like.
I just laugh....

I offered criticism of TT. That he didnt look 5 stars to me and he was sloppy in many aspects. But, I will give him props for running tough and calling for the ball in crunch time. Perhaps he could run a little more outside the tackles with a little option to reduce some of the hard hits. and he has a strong arm---great accuracy i have yet to see him demonstrate yet.
