Rochester WR-DB Nate Swaney had an Interception, forced fumble, fumble recovery, and a receiving TD in the win over Batavia.
Richmond-Burton running back Hunter Carley, 8 carries for 271 yards, 4 rushing touchdowns, and a kickoff return touchdown in 56 - 34 win over Marian Central Catholic.
This is on top of 186 yards and 5 rushing touchdowns last week against Peoria Notre Dame.

Tough to vote against the MC QB. 7 td passes in a huge win
MC's Brady Cloherty. On a National scene started poorly out of the gate, stepped up and orchestrated one of the biggest comebacks in IHSA history and threw for 7 TDS, I believe a MC record, and beat a Nationally ranked out of state powerhouse! For the love of Illinois Vote Brady Cloherty!
Even with Cloherty and MCs historic comeback performance, I have to throw my roses at St. Rita QB John Fennell 150 through the air 130 on the ground 2 TDs and nails a 2 point PAT to get a much needed win on the road at Duchon vs the Hitters. Just getting started. Looks like a one man figure 8 demolition derby with an arm to keep teams honest. I am awake. Exciting 2 weeks of HS football will do that even to grumpy old men like me
