2013 opener. What repeat of 2024, with NIU? not sure what you are talking about
NIU upset the hawks in the 2014 opener with the most egregious type of officiating mistake ever. But NIU was 11-3 that year and MAC champs so they had a really good team and had been good for a few years .
haha, you are right and they were very good with a really good QB and skill players. of course it was a KF opener when it looks like the team hasnt been practicing at all2013 opener.
And NIU went 12-2.
I feel like we're playing the telephone game....
Is every Iowa loss due to an officiating conspiracy? I was at that game. Iowa lost because Rudock threw his second pick of the day and NIU kicked a FG to win the game. He was seeing his first playing time because Vandenberg took EVERY snap in 2012.What repeat of 2024, with NIU? not sure what you are talking about

NIU's win @ Notre Dame was a beautiful thing. Then NIU went on to have a mediocre season. But winning at South Bend is a memory those guys will have forever. I loved it.A repeat of 2024.

But it was still Northern Illinois not Notre Dame or Ohio State or Alabama. LOLIs every Iowa loss due to an officiating conspiracy? I was at that game. Ah, the magical season that truly cemented the Kirk'ism of 'Giving us the best chance to win' 4 games....Is every Iowa loss due to an officiating conspiracy? I was at that game.
