Also multiple Reidsville players arguing and fighting amongst each other a lot of the 2nd half and arguing with coaches after the game was very interesting to see.
One player in particular needs to get it together I won't call any names. Heard about an incident that happened in the locker room after the game that was incredibly dumb.

Wow! Yeah saw EMS people headed over there. Crazy situation. Also he’s the same player cussing Reidsville coaches on the sideline.

I may have crossed a line. Someone had posted that pic on a social media account. I try to be professional but stooped a bit there. My apologies.

It was a great high school game. Both teams need to learn to control their emotions because if they remain healthy they both should be playing well into December.

Hope R'ville's 2 and 18 aren't seriously hurt and prayers went up for GW #2.

Huge crowd ... probably biggest crowd other than state playoff games I've seen in recent seasons. Reidsville-Danville schoolboy football rivalry goes back more than 100 years.

By ab 10 mins post kickoff it was standing room only. I got there at 6:50 and had a difficult time getting a seat. The home side looked to have zero seats, and theirs is much larger than Reidsville’s stadium. Does anybody know the all-time series?

People act like these Rams didnt start 2-2 and win a title less than 365 days ago. Relax folks. Early season games affect seeding, sure, but ultimately mean little to long term goals. A loss like this can galvanize a team or be a wound that gets infected and spreads to other areas. That's up to the coaches and leaders as to which direction it goes.

I believe the all-time series tied at 3-3 now

3-3 is correct for Rams vs. Eagles ... all-time series also includes Golden Lions vs. Cardinals and Reidsville Booker T Washington vs. Danville John M. Langston High Schools. Consolidation in 1970 in both cities.
All-time Rams vs. Eagles scores (amazing that 4 of 6 decided by 1 point):
2003 - Reidsville won 25-15
2004 - Danville GW won 15-14
2005 - Danville GW won 36-35
2006 - Reidsville won 35-34
2025 - Reidsville won 42-14
2026 - Danville GW won 20-19

First game on record was in 1910 and Danville won 6-0... Reidsville got payback in 1911 with a 28-0 win.
That was old-time schoolboy football.

How did you like that history lesson.? Yes, it was called schoolboy football way back then.

My senior year we beat them over there in the final game of the 1959 season. Our All State lineman Ted "Tiger" Lamb tore his ACL in the fourth quarter and that finished his career. He was heavily recruited and had committed to Carolina. Ted's father was a mild and meek Methodist pastor. Ted was just the opposite: Nice off the field but a "Tiger" on the field.

And that's my history lesson.

Preciate that. I’m always trying to get info on Black school history too (very hard to find) so that helps a lot.

Sounds like the beginning of the end for the Reidsville Ram program.

Gw Danville is a good team, this was always going to be a tough game. They've beaten some of our better teams from back in the day as well. Now seems like some other stuff is going on, but can be fixed. The main concern is the injuries right now. This was also a winnable game, I expect Gw to go undefeated and make a deep playoff run.

That was the biggest head scratcher/bonehead decision of the night 100%

Something else subtle I'll give credit to the gw coaching staff, their punter who is quick wasn't having any issues getting to where he needed to so they finally called the fake. With our defense being out on the field that's not good execution, by us.

MRI for Pruitt today. Do you base your statement on results from that test?
I was just saying what I had heard, to be fair he said he didn't hear it from Pruitt that's just what others within the team have said. Hoping I'm wrong and the MRI results bring good news

Hearing now it's an ACL tear for Pruitt and a dislocated shoulder for Cauthen. Wouldn't be surprised to see Cauthen come back before the end of the season.
