SO I DONT LIKE HOPELESS

I LOVE HOPELESS
You know, I have nearly all the MAGA morons on ignore. But you, you're pure comedy. I can see you sitting in your trailer in front of your 1998 Dell with it's CRT monitor getting ready to post something you think is truly devastating...and then...this.

I was explaining to you the stupidity of your statement that Canada is our "greatest long-standing ally."

Seems that should be for another thread deflection king. Now, care to tell me what nato has to do with your orange jesus trade war? Or just another deflection of yours?

We are so fortunate to have "educated folk" like you on this board. What is your claim to being 'educated'?
Respectfully, you don’t want to go head to head on this. Our relative status doesn’t provide any more or less support to our positions, but I feel strongly that finding “Lake America” to be a “win” is an indication of a lower IQ. Just look around at the board members who celebrate this - not exactly known for contributing intelligent thoughts.

Sad that you cannot find and understand the connections yourself, fawkedup.

"Historically, roughly 70 percent of Canada's defense investment has flowed directly to U.S. defense contractors. Under Prime Minister Carney's new Defence Industrial Strategy, Canada has committed to spending half a trillion dollars over the next ten years, hitting NATO’s previous 2% GDP benchmark (now 5%, so Canada will still be freeloading). However, Canada designed this strategy to pivot heavily toward domestic firms. The U.S. viewed this shift as a threat to American defense manufacturing profits, leading to a direct clash during trade discussions over who would benefit from Canada's expanded military budget. If our relative status does not provide "any more or less support to our positions," why did you bring it up? I would not expect a well-educated person to do so.

I’d like to say he can’t do that, but if I pull up Google Maps right now, it says the f*cking Gulf of America.

That is sad, but I don't think he gets traction on this. Supposedly MapQuest has taken a pass on renaming Lake Ontario. Americans like Canadians and Canada. They don't get this flex. At least with the Gulf of Mexico there was the satisfaction in MAGAland of pushing around non whites.

I hope he lives through his term and dies in the most humiliating fashion. So humiliating that it breaks the spell over his cult followers.

Maybe posters like Riveting and Whiskey would get their own personalities back?
He's halfway there. He's going to fall down some stairs. He's going to have a stroke and look all weak and feeble. MAGA will splinter that very second.

I mean, we can't even keep our own stockpiles up and defeat a 3rd world country in a fight we picked. Our attack helicopters are suffering more mishaps than ever before and our sailors want to commit suicide at sea. I might look somewhere else right now myself.

What a GREAT AND WONDERFUL move by our GREATEST President!! Though he truly is too humble, he DESERVES for it to be named after him but only a truly selfless AND ABSOLUTE GREATEST leader would name it after the country that adores him!

The pounding heart of PATRIOTISM SHINES upon our great and wondrous country with unity like never before all thanks to great President TRUMP!

Yes, we are a nation chock full of idiots. I accepted that a long time ago.

As a former Republican, I don’t care what triggers the libs. I’m just past the point of being embarrassed by my president. It’s old news. I moved on years ago.

The only point of talking about it now, at least for me, is to laugh about it and make fun of the MAGA Idiot Brigade frantically flailing every time to defend the newest stupid sh*t Trump said or did. Frankly, it’s worth the price of admission (yeah, zilch, but you get it) visiting this site. 😝
Joining the old board around the time of your transition was refreshing to see as a former Republican voting independent (up until T Party). Unfortunately both on the boards and in real life you are the only one I have encountered.

I'm pretty sure that this ^^^^ post was composed with tongue firmly in cheek, but there's a small chance the poster was serious. Either way, it's a great post from my perspective. It's either intentionally funny or unintentionally funny.

I'm the only liberal I know who actually like calling the Gulf of Mexico the Gulf of America. But the Lake of America idea is absurd.

I mean if you are going to call one of the Great Lakes "Lake America" it should be the largest (Superior) not the smallest (Ontario). Amirite?
