Please let me know who should be the Week 2 State Wide IHSA Football Player of the Week. Also please include any important information (like stats etc) to support your nominee. Thanks. I will select one player to be nominated for the Chicago Bears weekly award.

Important note: Coaches can't win this award if they have won it over the last 5 seasons. Players can only win the POTW award once.

Over the last 5 seasons is tough! Even though his first name is spelled incorrectly I'll go with Sheamus Murphy from Sandburg for handing Montini their first loss in two years....unless he's won it before in the past 5 years which I have no idea.

IMO both of these coaches deserve it outright for this week, but for slightly different reasons.

300th win has to get you coach of the week.
AND
Coaching that game against Batavia has to get you coach of the week.

So, make it happen. Co-winners of the Coach of the Week.

Reents will win another 100 and they should be playing much better teams NC than Morrison.

They were supposed to play @ Le-Win but moving the schedule up a week this season screwed that up
