Long run and an ill advised deep bomb into double coverage helped give the Rams the lead they needed. Backside WR was wide open lol
Reidsville up 12-8 at halftime. Between penalties, injuries, and fighting half lasted about an hour and a half. Kadence Pruitt hurt hearing it may be a hyperextended knee but they're checking at halftime.

Cauthen hurt his right shoulder and he’s out for the night too. Injuries have been an issue but the Rams have kept pushing regardless.

Absolutely egregious decision making by Teague tonight. Went for 2 when he should've kicked and kicked when he should've gone for 2

GW won 20-19. Reidsville kicked the extra point on their last score to go up 19-14 instead of going for 2 to possibly be up 20-14 made no sense at all
I assumed the Rams didn’t have a kicker most of the game. The one time they went for the XP, it was a good kick
The kicker is good he sent us to the state championship game with a field goal last year. We have 2 reliable kickers on the roster and still decided to not kick.
Completely boneheaded. Teague coached like he was trying not to lose. Kids can sense that & they start playing the same way.
Also, I’d be lying if I said it didn’t feel like home cooking from GW with officiating, but RVille was also genuinely a mess which made it that much easier to stick penalties on em. And I remember it being said that penalties were an issue last week too. That’s coaching

GW also had multiple starters out tonight (rb) and a DL. If it wasn’t for a muffed punt and a deep pass over 2 people the rams offense struggled against GW’s Defense. GW was able to shut down the screen game and match athlete for athlete with Reidsville. And for the officiating GW had multiple 8-10 yard runs in the first half called back for holding.
Rams will still likely win the 4a and are a good team. GW will contend in VA for a title. Good game and good rivalry. Great stadium atmosphere tonight.
