Mamdani delivering for New Yorkers

It’s pretty remarkable that someone with this absurd level of political talent could have just continued to indefinitely waste away as a backbencher in the New York Assembly if he hadn’t decided to launch what was then a long shot bid for mayor under a near-perfect set of macro circumstances.

Makes me optimistic about how many other sources of untapped talent there are out there in local and state governments around the country that just lack the opportunity (or currently, the willpower) to attempt to make a similar leap.

Mamdani is a generational talent, but the bench is almost certainly deeper than we think it is.

TC_Tool- I know reading isn’t your strong suit, but you should check out this great paper showing how much more take-home money you get living in low-tax conservative cities vs high-tax libtard ones like NYC & LA.

Yeah but then you have to live in ****** conservative cities like Nashville, Murfreesboro, and Orlando (the article’s selections) instead of great cities like New York City and LA

That’s true…..you miss out getting to hang around all those homeless druggies.

My kids still swear one of the many bums we saw lying motionless in NYC was actually dead, not just passed out. They would have missed out on that experience in those other boring cities!

He delivering alright.

Annualized mortality per 100,000 detainees:

• NYC DOC under Mamdani: 151.8
• ICE: 55.2

His city custody mortality rate is nearly 3 times ICE’s.

The great thing about our current form of government is that people have choices at a somewhat micro level on how they want to live. If people in NYC want to elect someone like Mamdani, that's great, as long as they don't expect to be bailed out down the road if their choice fails. Of course that would be true of any city or state, regardless of political leaning.

Lol, food for the ignorant. Demand for office space has increased nationwide for 3 consecutive quarters.

NYC converted a bunch of office space into residential creating additional demand....and the residential market is down 14% in Manhattan.

Be better.

Meanwhile in Tampa we are going to give 2 billion dollars to a billionaire for a new stadium. The NFL team will soon be demanding an even bigger handout because that’s how mafioso oligarchy works. Our infrastructure is third world level bad and our schools are worse
