The question I have with all these candidates is can they win statewide? If not, then it just seems counterproductive.

Corporate/establisment democrats in 2022: Charlie Crist lost to DeSaster by 20 points. Former congresswoman Val Demmings lost to Marco Rubio by 17 points. They both mailed it in and barely campaigned at all.

Angie Nixon may not win because of the disparity in resources but I think she will considerably outperform those two establishment dragazzes.

No argument there. I think Florida is just a lost cause at this point, unfortunately. I was thinking of kore competitive areas of the country.

U.S. Senate candidate @AngieNixon (D) took aim at the Hope Florida controversy involving U.S. Senator @AshleyMoodyFL (R) - among others - at a campaign kick off event Wednesday in Jacksonville:

"She stole $10 million from medically needy kids in order to defeat two citizen led ballot initiatives that you all placed on the ballot that would have allowed you all to have healthier lives.

It’s the million dollar question. But I think 26 is the perfect time to find out. The progressives, the youth, the non corporate aligned part of the party has been ignored for 10 years and the results have been not great. The DSA message is resonating becuase there is real anger out there. Unfortunately the dems have tried to moderate so much they feel only the DSA was place to go and for sure they have some ridiculous core values / platforms so not ideal. But it’s put up or shut up time for this part of the party. I have said for awhile now that some speculate the backlash for MAGA 2016-2028 will be a much far left and progressive US in the 2030s as the boomers are all dead and Gen Z and Millennials take over with the old Gen X. This is how it starts.
