UVA is gorgeous. 1 and I visited the campus and attended the field goal game. 1 would have flourished at uva How olds you oldest? Seems a bit early for visits:p

LOL. Yeah, not a 'true' official visit or anything but just taking the time to walk the campus and check things out - she's a couple years away from official guided campus tours. Maybe we'll go with a UVA friend (one is a PE bro but his wife his awesome). I've only been to Charlottesville for a concert and I dug it. Didn't get to see the campus there.

Yes, it is a nice town and an easier trip to El Paso. Do you ever venture into Juarez, Mexico? I know there is alot of cartel influence there.
No. I've Never been but I know people who go and they don't seem to have issues but it's listed as Dangerous but I don't hear much on the news about things happening there. I think the cartels are pretty bad in all the boarder towns but most of the stuff I see or hear about seems to be happening on the CA side. 🤷‍♂️
Las Cruces is pretty safe and it seems like El Paso is as well.

I remember writing about it years ago. I drove past it on my way back home after 9/11.

In 2010, Juarez was one of the world’s deadliest cities. Over 3000 homicides per year! That’s over 8 murders per day. I don’t know how it’s changed since then.

If you get to College Park, meet us at Looney’s
for some drinks! Perhaps LionJim and his bride will join us too?

A game against the the University of Hawaii Rainbows, in Honolulu. Been there for a Cal-Hawaii game. Will never forget eating sushi on Thanksgiving Day. Kinda strange. But the weather and the beach were awesome. And fellow Cal alums loved that locale for an away game.
