LOL....youth...middle school and high school. NFL was first to go. Free agency was good in some ways....but definitely weakened the overall product on the field. I know about all the good stuff and $ for players. But dynasties are gone.
College is mid- ruin.
HS has already done more than a dip a toe.
It's all due to the AAU basketball culture and unreasonable, clueless parents/hangers on types that think their boy is the special one.
% of HS football players that make the NFL is like .002%.
% of players that play 3 plus years at a P4? You won't find an accurate stat... but it's low too.
If the argument is "well he got free education". Many in society can get that without sports just as easily.
