RC has a lot of speed and size. They will be fine this year. QB throws a nice ball and has great speed. Def front is big and athletic, LB's are average. Good speed in the secondary.
Man, I remember when these boards used to be FLOODED with Richmond and Scotland fans.
Back when I was on this site way way way back in 2000 Richmond, Scotland, and Anson county were the killing fields. You went there you got your a$$ whipped

Richmond has the talent to compete; they just don't have the coaches to go with the talent. Richmond reminds me of the Hubert Davis era at UNC, where you have too many former players trying to be coaches. Richmond hasn't had a good DC since the Ed Emory days. Need some talented coaches if Richmond ever hopes to get back to the glory days. In my humble opinion!

A lot of young coaches on the staff. Young coaches are like young players, they take time to mature and develop into their full potential. They have some good resources to help them with their development like Dale Denson and James Johnson. Both have a ton of experience in coaching and the community. The question is will the faithful have the patience to let them grow into their potential or make a knee jerk reaction and start calling for heads. The staff is a great group that do things the right way, look out for the best interest of the student/athletes and honor the traditions of Raider nation. Slow starts, bad penalties at bad times and costly turnovers have been the undoing so far this season. All of these can be corrected and i am sure are being addressed daily. I for one am going to be patient and enjoy watching this staff and team mature.
