I'd say odds are pretty good that Isaac just bought the shirt and has no idea who AC/DC is, sort of like all these kids wearing Nirvana shirts.

I hate this. Especially when you start a conversation with them about the band and they have a blank stare on their face. 🤦‍♂️🙄

So, you saying Chris Low is a liar? He wouldn't be going to Atlanta to see Angus and the boys live? What's makes you think he wouldn't actually know AC/DC? There is nothing in that picture to indicate he does not know them other than what is in your head. I am not positive he knows them but there is a lot more there in that OP indicating that he does than he doesn't.

Man I sincerely apologize for my post. The last thing I want to do in my life is question Chris Low. Every one of these kids who wear these shirts from old bands wears them because they are true fans and love the music, not because it's a fad.

If you run into Chris, please extend my apologies to him as well.

You'd be surprised how much kids these days like Classic Rock, of course AD/DC, VH and GN'R is played at every sporting event. Most likely they don't know it like we do, but they do enjoy it.

My last deployment, 2016, a band (AF Band called Afterburner) toured the AOR, I was shocked at how many late teens/early twenties kids were into that genre of music.

First, of course they do - listen to the tripe coming out these days in pop music. Thanks to my indoctrination, my kids all know with certainty that 70's/80's music is infinitely better and timeless.

Second, a (small) shout out to TikTok. I'm sure you with daughters already know this, but there are a ton of videos going around with great music as the background, introducing this generation to the classics.

My teen daughter asked me the other night, "don't you like Steely Dan?". I confirmed, of course. She went on to tell me Dirty Work was her new favorite song. She heard it on some TikTok video. She's also become a huge Billy Joel fan lately. I was simultaneously proud as hell and irritated that after all these years of me playing it, she's finally listening because the Chinese spies told her to... But at least there is one good thing coming from it.
