It's so obvious now. But yeah, as a kid I thought he was just silly. And I can't let a Gong Show reference go without remembering the Popsicle Twins. This was shown on the East Coast, but quickly cut out for the delayed West Coast show..

I remember going to the outdoor picture show at State before Halloween and watching the Rocky Horror Picture Show. We had a great crowd and repeated some of the lines from the movie.

That show was out of control. I loved it as a kid, even if I didn't get all the references. Now I do and realize the sheer coke-fueled genius of it even more.
