I live next to a golf course and over the years have collected several hundred golf balls. All kinds, but it’s an expensive course so I have good balls as well. Probably 6-7 dozen Pro V1s, as an example.

But when I go play, I’ll start out with a Kirkland or something and if I lose it, I’ll pull out a Pinnacle or Noodle or something. I’m not good enough for the ball to matter, but for some reason I’m subconsciously saving the “good balls.”

How about you?

I have OCD about checking the garage door before I go to bed. Why, because some kid or the wife left it open all night long a few times. I cannot go to bed without checking to make sure the garage door is closed as my last act before going to sleep. I don't get up out of bed and check it again.

I guess I never would have considered that a quirk or a habit.
I do the exact same thing though. It’s not just with golf balls either. Heck at times I will even eat my food in reverse order of what I like. I’ll eat the crappier food first and keep the best for last. Maybe I should stop doing this as no matter how full I am, I’m going to eat the delicious food that I have left.

I take photos of disposable plastic flossers I find on the ground--anywhere from Kwik Trip parking lot to the walkway at Old Faithful, to a romantic era composer's historic residence in a small European city.

I will type a grocery list on my phone, never look at it while I'm in the store, then proceed to check it the second i carry the groceries into my apartment where I realize that I've have forgotten at least one thing on my list.

Some weird mother ******* on this board.
I was thinking this is mostly pretty tame stuff.

If I have M&Ms I will pour them all out, sort them by color, then eat them by color in ascending order - except for orange, which are always eaten last.

I have the same breakfast - two granola bars - every morning during the week, every week. On Saturday I'll switch it up and have one granola bar and a pack of pop tarts. On Sunday we usually make biscuits, bacon, eggs, etc. But yeah, pretty much always the same thing - when I went to Las Vegas last week I brought granola bars and pop tarts with me.

Yup.

That's not something I'd admit publicly.

I regularly tell my wife I shut the garage door if she asks when I'm in bed (its not), then get up when she goes to the bathroom in the am and shut it. 🤷‍♂️

You gotta save the best color for last (which is obviously orange)

It was a great trip. Lots of dad- daughter quality time. The first couple of days it was actually hotter in DFW than in LV. Didn't really win any money, but gambling was a really small piece of the trip. We gambled some, but it was usually as we were walking around each of the resorts.

I eat things one at a time. For example, if im eating chicken, rice, and broccoli. Ill eat the broccoli first, rice 2nd, and chicken last. If it's a burger and fries, burger first and fries 2nd. I wont mix it up.
Exactly the same for me. My family when I was young used to give me a little bit of a hard time for it.
