Most their insiders are predicting them to be really bad and that they have less talent than last year. Losing the stud tight end in camp doesn't help either.

The two days of extra rest for RU vs. what is essentially a 1-AA team will be big as well. BC will be on the road in a battle and will have to play 6 days later. 🤞 Go RU

Dual threat QB could have a bad day throwing and still account for 300 total yards though. Need a “Spy Knight” position on D.

Hopefully the RU vs ex “Big East, ACC Schools Revenge Tour “ continues.
The only one they haven’t beaten is Pitt. ( they haven’t played them).

One thing I learned in reading that is they had season ticket holders invited to witness the scrimmage.

Sadly she’d still owe him somewhere around $20MM. The more time goes on the worse the Hobbs tenure is looking.
At some point- that needs to just become a "number" - what we will lose with another poor year will far outweigh what we could gain if she makes a change for the better and has this team winning and exciting again.

I agree but at Rutgers, some numbers matter more than others.

I also think- we would not be able to go out and hire a no brainer, proven P4 HC for $10 mil or so- we would have to find out up and comer from a lower division. With that said- new HC would be half of GS's salary. Also- I believe Greg does find another job- so, that would also lessen our burden to him.
But, I get it, but while I hate NIL and the transfer portal- we need to do something that moves the needle with fans and transfers as well.
It would be worth it in the long run- now, let's see greg get 8 wins this year including a signature upset that is felt nationally, then, he earns his keep.

He doesn't even need 8. 6 will be able to give Keli the ammo to bring him back, keep the goons at the gates, and continue opening rev pipelines so she's prepared when the opportunity does come. She's going to get one crack at this. She no doubt wants to make the most of it, even if it means short term pain.

yeah - she needs him to get to 6 to be able to keep everyone patient but if he had a one hit wonder type 2006year she’d just ride the wave and wait. There are so many other things to focus us so if football could be decent enough for a while without whole sale change it would just make her job easier. She’s in no rush to make this hire unless she has to.
