Madison definitely going to get some good rain since I broke down & am watering my yard.
It’s always north or south of me. Several times close enough i can see & smell the lightning.
Most likely going to miss this completely. Maybe a stray shower that gets lost. Most of the strongest looks to stay to your north.
Memphis got hammered yesterday. 22% of the city without power and they are saying it could be later in the week before it is all restored
That’s what I hate about storms in August and September. They almost always have alot of wind with either microbursts or straight line wind.
Parts of Desoto and Marshall county got hit pretty hard. The wind was outrageous. Lots of trees and limbs down. Per usual everyone with HSUD is without power and likely won’t have it again for a week.
Should quiet down this week for the north part of the state. Some rain chances middle of the week but not looking severe at this time.

We had storms Thursday night just before midnight. My neighbor's white pine, well over 100 feet tall, ended up in my back yard. It somehow picked the absolute least damage place to fall - could have taken out my sunroom. Essentially no damage except to my pocketbook - just had it cleaned up this morning.
