I think when you combine talent with experience, easily.
This team is arguably more talented than 2019. It's just that all the other teams are also better. Freshman Hero, Freshman Keldon and sophomore PJ? Eh. Teams aren't going to win anymore with a bunch of freshmen.
A wild thing is going on these days - at about 30 down, all the best players are coming into the top 30. So all those teams are much better.
This is a no excuses roster for Pope. It's a year where you will know what Pope and Kelsey are made of.

We have multiple players that will be competing for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd team All-SEC.
I expect Mitchell to be on the first team, and Milan/Moreno on the 2nd and 3rd teams. Then you've got two shot creators in Diallo and Wilkins.

No chance this roster is as good? That UK team was overrated. That Auburn team wasn't even that good, generally a weak year in CBB with UVa and Texas Tech in the final, Aubrun and meh Michigan St team in the F4. Lame season.
This UK roster has 3 McD AA in Diallo, Moreno and Mitchell, FYI.
Rothstein has it up to top 15. Roster is as good as 2nd in the SEC. It will be a battle with Texas and Arkansas. If Pope finishes anywhere less than 4th, it's a bad year.
Yeah no chance. And tough to beat a team 3 times in a season, regardless. LMAO Virginia and TTech were really good teams.
Assuming the legal eligibility works out in our favor, I am expecting at minimum a top 10 team that is in the 2nd weekend and a legitimate final four contender. Prove it, Pope. I so sincerely hope you do.
This team on paper is quite better than just top 15. It's a top 8 roster in the nation easily. Please name 8 better.
