Batavia at Rochester (Week 2)

It should be another good matchup for Batavia before Dukane conference play starts. The Rockets punch above their weight class but I’m not overly impressed by the close win against Moline. I don’t anticipate a blowout but I do expect Batavia to win this one.

If Rochester doesn't get some things ironed out, it will be a blowout. Too many mental errors by the Rocket's on the offensive side of the ball in Moline. Two fumbles and two dropped passes (3 out of the 4 errors would have resulted in TDs) can't happen if they expect to be successful this year.

Batavia has a stellar spread offense that will give the Rochester secondary (which is undersized) fits. I'm afraid the only hope for the Rockets against Batavia is a shootout.

The bright spots for the Rockets in Moline: stellar OL/DL play...which may be the best I've seen at Rochester and Jr. wide-out Reece Gade.

Batavia will win and it could be by 3 TD's or more.
