James plan has been consistent in that he wants to enroll this fall and be a guy.

Now that the federal judge shot down athletes in the class of ‘22 wrestling a fifth year, james will be battling it out with Henckel and Cunningham for the start at 174.
I might agree with that BUT James has been out of the country for at least a week. The decision involving Levi’s chances of returning came down only yesterday. When Jayden left for U20s the chance of Levi returning looked pretty high. The decision to have KD be Jayden’s coach at U20s happened at least a week ago and could not have been influenced by the court decision handed down yesterday.

I don’t think KD being in his corner has anything to do with his plans for the coming season. It’s probably the last time that KD will corner him for awhile and they have a great relationship

The same question was asked about KD in PJ's corner last year. Somewhere on these pages there's a video of Cael talking about it. If I recall correctly Cael said it was good for PJ to maintain the consistency that got him there.

Does it mean anything that KD has been the coach in Jayden’s corner for his first 3 matches and no coach from the NLWC has been present?
Cael is there and was scrapping with Jayden a few days ago, according to social media. If I recall last year, KD cornered PJ up until the Penn State semester started, and he had NLWC coaches at senior worlds last year.

Speaking of honor, or the lack thereof, check out the match between Seidel and Khateri. Seconds before Khateri walked out to start the second period (and after one of the coaches had toweled off his shoulders, the main Iranian coach threw some water on Khateri's right shoulder and rubbed his wet hand on the back of Khateri's neck. Khateri then went out to the mat and the referee sent him back to his corner to be toweled off, giving Khateri another 25-30 seconds to catch his breath and his coach more time to coach him! Pretty sneaky and dishonorable in my book.
I caught that also.

And a little off-topic, but that’s why our World Cup shenanigans this summer pissed me off so much. The US over the years has earned a pretty good reputation for fair play - a few exceptions aside. We could always get on a pedestal when criticizing shady Olympic judging (e.g Roy Jones Jr robbery, 1972 Bball farce, etc, etc) and our athletes overwhelmingly comport themselves well on the international stage.

And we ****** that all up in 1 day on the biggest sports stage in the world. Every time we complain about cheating in the future, we’re going to get blowback because of the World Cup and we deserve it.

He's on team USA, so, of course, I'm rooting for him, but, I can't look at Robideau without my mind going back to the robbery of P.J.
I’ve got to be honest, if I had to pick who I liked best between Robideau and Joseph Stalin, I might pick Stalin.

Uncle Joe may have caused the slaughter of millions, but he didn’t cheat PJ Duke in a wrestling match - that’s for damn sure

JFC…

We’re comparing the death of millions to a wrestling match?!

From a coaching perspective, it’s really difficult to get used to not coaching the kids you’ve developed for years. You have to put faith in the guys/gals coaching them now and bite your tongue when watching them compete. That’s easy to do when you’re handing them over to Cael, but I digress. KD strikes me as the kind of guy who is secure in the relationships he’s built with kids like PJ and Jayden so I wouldn’t imagine there’s too much in the way of ego-driven involvement
