There is an effed up dialogue about cramps that has been cast at ESL for a handful of years, almost as if the program was not "smart" enough to teach proper nutrition.

Dehydration has a lot to do with cramps, but even more so does 50 GAME-INTENSITY, seven- to 10-second bursts that throw muscle groups into spasm.

Practice EMOTIONAL game speed ... that many reps? Play as you practice; sounds nice.

Some of that is how the muscles are built during the off-season, often adding too much muscle. Let's educate programs about that too.

The cramping issue is more prevalent with the exact situation the South suburbs of Chicago exhibited last night. High humidity and mid 70F combined with synthetic turf fields retention of reflective heat is a killer. And to think back in the “olde” days water breaks were taboo. We have come a long way since the 70’s but Crusader90 is exactly correct on the naivety of fans to think it is a negative brought on by particular programs.

Only 16 . Still a stud. Unfortunately this pattern of holding kids back for athletics isn't going away especially with the amount of nil money.
So did he red shirt 8th grade? Not the first for certain as home schooling makes this possible to bulk up while “studying” at home. NIL

His head case father will get in his way. Setting the o/u at 2.5 for teams he plays on. 2 if he reclassifies again, 3 if not. He’ll go the Trae Taylor route.
He won’t get any bigger physically for the rest of high school. Kids should be hitting their stride as they get into college. NIL aside, I wonder if reclassifying will ultimately hurt these kids in the long run.

McGee is fragile… I said it last year and I am saying it again
He exited the game on offense as BR scored a go-ahead TD. Momentum was all BR. Was he “fragile” in the state championship while missing a series due to cramping while having multiple sacks and tfls?

Afraid to even ask but what on earth does “reclassifying” mean in this context
