The turnaround for James will be fast he will be up for his match against Perentin in 7 matches on mat C probably 45 minutes
Does Perentin worry anyone? He gave James his last folkstyle loss and they were teammates at Delbarton. I have a hard time seeing him stay with Jayden. The growth curve of James this last year has been something special
Should go Ross, Robideau, James with nice little breaks for the viewers in between.
I know! It’s wild. I had Cortez bronze and he’s in the finals. I had Mastny dnp and he’s wrestling for bronze. I had Sinclair with silver and he won gold. Pretty incredible tournament for our boys so far
I thought the same yesterday. Maybe a big brother situation last year though.
James is a completely different person than that one. Looked like that loss made him jump levels.
James is a superior freestyler but room familiarity could be an issue. Peretin's winning TD at Clarion would have been scored 6-2 or at least 4-2 James in free.
Well he should be real familiar with the guy he needs to beat training with Wyatt
Tons of good matches coming up soon. On mat A there is Khalili vs Tabaldiev, Kazharov vs Yoshida, and Wagin vs Mamivand
On mat C there is Gur vs Ogawa and then Robideau and James matches

Brooks - DT situation. Going to be interesting.
Just a general observation. I love seeing the great sportsmanship in this tournament (with very few exceptions). Guys are giving handshakes often after 1st periods, during restarts and after stoppages. It's great to see the respect for one another in a combat sport like this one.
Altangerel was pretty impressive there and he had a solid gas tank. Robideau did what he had to do to get it done against a pretty tough wrestler who came to scrap.
A bit tougher for Robideau than expected. Good match though. He has the Russian Merov next. Huge one for the team race

The 2026 U20 World Championships take place on 8/16 through 8/23 at Bratislava, Slovakia. Please use this thread for all pre-tournament, in-tournament, and post-tournament discussion. The USA MFS team includes PSU's Jayden James, as well as two wrestlers from PA (Aaron Seidel and Bo Bassett)...

James won that match by scoring to negate the clock. That point would have loomed large and forced James on the offensive late.
Boyle in the hole on C then Robideau/Ross back to back on B 4/5 out then a wait to James on C
Good deal. A close match will really help him the rest of the way. Will he be coming up soon again ? Okay just got answered
I've been noticing it the whole time. It leads outside. I'm assuming you have to go outside to go in another part of the building. People are going in and out of it constantly.
