Was a good game. St Rita need to polish up their livestream; at least pan the camera to the scoreboard 1 time per quarter.
I honestly thought PC would win by 14 or more considering they bringing a ton back, while SR losing a lot to graduation and transfers.
Rough 1st half for both sides of the ball for sure. As you pointed out in another thread, SR may take some lumps early on, but should be a very formidable foe come 7A playoff time.
Both sides of the ball with huge improvements in the 2nd half. Defense will get better. I think SR's QB will only get better.
Although I'm disappointed, the kids never gave up and could've won the game. It's that kind of tenacity and grit Rita will need to potentially make a huge push in 7A.
SR and GW have similar games. I am thinking this will be a great game.
Yeah I can't understand how they haven't jumped on a student run media like MC and BR does
1st games of the season you can never fully read an entire team on. Glad to see Provi come out with a big win on the road against a top tier opponent and CCL rival. But I agree both teams, if they clean up the play, can cause some havoc in their divisions. Is there a reason why Provi is not in 6A? Made it to championship last year and almost pulled it out. Just curious
Rita had a couple players out. Stubitsch and Sellis, both receivers. I was not impressed with the transfer at DE. Maybe you will see more of him against passing teams when he can rush the passer more......Fennell played tough, he isn't going to survive the season if he keeps taking hits like he does but can't knock his toughness. If they can win
They were 4A and got bumped to 5A a couple years ago
They at least had scoreboard as small as it was. Rita had a decent stream just frustrating not knowing the time or score....I've heard Rita is because the distance from the school and the WiFi being low but there has to be a solution for that in this day and age
