There are different type of lobbyists but the most impactful ones work for say: Blue Cross Blue Shield, who lobby senators and representatives to vote no on social programs that weaken their bottom line.
That source is from 14 years ago dude. I have no idea if it is accurate or not, but suspect it is correlated to church giving.
I tried to find an authoritative recent source and this popped up. I honestly don’t know if this is accurate or not, but it looks a lot less definitive than yours.

Let’s say it is. Giving your own money requires sacrifice, giving others money only requires filling in a bubble on a ballot (or ten ballets if you live in certain places).
Wanted to say this again because it was a good thing to drink water at meals.
My mom had iced water at every meal.
She said it was healthy and inexpensive
Right before she passed away she being an accountant told me how much of the money she was leaving me in an inheritance was because dad and her drank iced water or iced tea or hot coffee instead of sugary drinks.
I was astounded at the number as it would be a nice sum for any struggling family to have access to.
Food nutrition is so skewed toward fast serve highly processed foods with lots of chemicals.
Want to make America healthier then eat a little more bugs and dirt in your food. LOL

If it is not water from the spigot or milk from the cow then it is not needed to be on the supported SNAP LIST. Maybe orange juice but keep it simple stupid.
OK, I understand..but let's start with one basic...no lobbyist has a vote in the Senate....now having agreed on that, you've identified one side of the debate the provider - blue cross - (I understand you're using this only as an example), but you didn't mention all of the patient based organizations that have lobbyists and lobby the same senators on the other side of whatever the issue is. Look it up....lobbyists provide their side of the issue...and for every one that argues "yes", there is another that argues "no".
So your issue shouldn't be with the lobbyists if should be with the senator who, in fact, listens to the arguments of both sides, then calculates how his vote will play upon voters in the next election as much, or more, than the arguments presented by the lobbyists. Why, because, the lobbyist has no vote and the senator has one primary goal...get reelected.
I always get a kick out of senators like Bernie Sanders who will denigrate lobbyists as if they're the ones setting the agendas, and voting. Yet, he turns to exactly the people he blasts for support on his issues. You think there aren't people out there lobbying for Medicare for all??
Currently we have an 80 year old fraudulent businessman who's enriching himself & his family at a rate never seen while adding staggeringly to the debt. I'd rather have a 10 year old.

I reject that assertion as they are false equivalents. I neither have the time nor the patience to go through all the reasons “Christians” tithe. What I can say is that people tithe for a variety of reasons. Yes, the end result is separating dollars from yourself but let’s not pretend the motives are always so selfless and pure. That’s naive.

Why should anyone who doesn't contribute 1 single dime, have any say in what happens? Hell, if those folks were contributing a single dime, they made it back from SNAP or some other gov't program.

If you are between the ages of 24-60 and you are not paying anything in taxes, you should not get to vote. Why should anyone who does not pay anything in, get to vote what someone else pays?
You ever heard of EIC (earned income credit)? People get paid money to them, but didn't contribute at all:

Can you expound on this? As long as I've been allowed to vote, I can't remember ever voting for a "christian". Can you show me a ballot where the "christian" party was on it and the votes the candidate received?
