DanceYou run around dogging the Pope and the team out every chance you get, post a laughing emoji anytime someone says something positive, and pile on every UK hating post on the board. If there was every a closet Duke fan on this board, you are it
You're telling me he won all those games with that against him? Hmm wonder if Pope will be able to ever do that.Lmfao at this notion that the injuries and horrible officiating during Cal’s tenure never being brought up is flat out HORSESHIT! I used to talk about both subjects all the time. So did many others, so give it a rest. That’s nonsense.
Stating a fact and being rah rah are not the same thing. Nobody claimed it was great. It is just a matter of pointing out that it is better than the extreme negative hyperbole that you push at all times.Yet people like u and even coach pope rah rah better than last 4 seasons of cal. Who cares.
And cal never gets the injury excuse for his tenure. Injuries probably cost UK another couple titles under cal and not to mention the awful officiating n close ncaa losses.
FalseThis. All these Pope pumpers are hilarious trying to use injuries as an excuse but Cal lost a plethora of big time guys to injuries and it’s never brought up.
You call folks who support our Head Coach losers and turn around and cry for mods when someone comes at you. FascinatingPope has to win something that matters. The same losers on here keep stating the obvious hes been better than Cals last 4 years. Big deal and such a pathetic low bar.
He needs to be better than Cals first 3 seasons. This is UK not BYU.
AmenYou calling somebody a loser is just rich. All you do is ***** and moan.
Good thing we don't have a bad coachIf he lands Mitchell, the team would be so good not even a bad coach could screw it up.
False
Never said he didn't deal with injuries. The false is that no one ever acknowledges them.Nerlens Noel, Alex Poythress, Ryan Harrow (Not injured but Mental), Savir Wheeler, Terrence Clarke, Cason Wallace, Jarred Vanderbilt, Jon Hood, TyTy Washington, Jemarl Baker, CJ Frederick. Your “False” is false.

Paranoid Nitro is back!Whats crazy is that you're a 20 or 30 something acting like a 12 year old and @UKortho is much older and acts the same age. I so hope he follows through on his blatant threat to post a poor guy's Facebook profile here again "right before he quits the board "like his buddy Catphight did. Not only do they have the wrong guy, we are talking older men stalking people and getting it wrong. Post it up @UKortho. With any luck, it will stay up long enough this time for somebody to contact that guy. I'd imagine he'd look into suing any gutless creep that does that psycho stuff with his free time.
(He will get this deleted as fast as possibe and get me banned because he likes behaving badly and getting away with it.)
Post it up or just make up some lie and brush off your bad behavior as that’s what you do.Paranoid Nitro is back!
I'm going to wait and see if he actually forces them to put forth consistent defensive effort. Do that and we may have a good year. Unfortunately, I haven't seen Pope do that the last 2 seasons. Someone above spoke about Pope not being a "bad coach." I don't think he is a bad coach. My fear is he seems to be a mid coach who will just do enough to keep his job, but never make Kentucky a serious contender. If we get Mitchell then Pope has to put up a top 15 season at worst. Anything other than that with the amount of money spent and he is gone.
But ya props to him for pushing through and putting this squad together.
Agreed, give credit where credit is due. I wasn’t one who was happy with the hire when Pope came, but I’ll support him as long as we don’t turn into the same program of the last 5 years before his tenure began. I’d much rather be positive (albeit it’s hard to do sometimes) and give my support, hoping for success. Negativity breeds more negativity. This is his best roster since he has been here. He's bringing in players that can compete for a title now. He's overcome a lot of negative media and negative fan criticism. Hanging tough, staying positive, engaged with the fans ( unlike his immediate predecessor).
I approve of all this, and the results, well, he's done as well as I could've expected him to do under the circumstances. I will not fault him for much. He took less talented rosters than what CCC had at his end further than Cal could.
But legitimate criticisms have its' place, I think he would be the first to say so. That is still FAR BETTER than anything CCC's ego could apparently endure.
It was always going to be tough to transition, but he's put himself in the position to make a lot of people eat crow. I hope he does. But he still has to prove it all on the court. Only then will he be truly vindicated.
He's doing his job. Let the man some room to breathe and for the team to get to work without a negative drumbeat and constant moaning over every little thing. Try giving him some positive support. Can't hurt.
I'm excited to see what they can do this season. Should be a breath of fresh air if they can bring things back to a success around here.
We shall see.
RidiculousPutting together a borderline top15 roster with a blank check book isn’t that impressive.
Name some teams that have put together a top 15 roster for next year without spending big bucks...I'll be anxiously waiting for the list. But it will be the surprise of my life if you come up with such a list.Putting together a borderline top15 roster with a blank check book isn’t that impressive.
When you’re top 3 in spending, which Kentucky is, and have no realistic shot at being a title contender, it’s not impressive. Also, I don’t think any team buying titles is “impressive”, but if you’re going to spend that much, you should at least have a realistic chance at competing for a title… Kentucky does not. Give Nate Oats that check book, and Kentucky would be a top5 team every year.Name some teams that have put together a top 15 roster for next year without spending big bucks...I'll be anxiously waiting for the list. Right, just the list I expected. When somebody asks a question you don't have an answer for you could try just not answering instead of replying with ********.When you’re top 3 in spending, which Kentucky is, and have no realistic shot at being a title contender, it’s not impressive. Maybe I’ll be eating crow by April 2027, but you and I both know I won’t be.

I’m not going to list the 10-15 teams that actually have a shot of winning to appease your delusional ***. Maybe 1 or 2 spent more money than Kentucky, but their spending can at least be rationalized. Kentucky will be the Mets of college basketball this year, just like last year.Right, just the list I expected. I'm not delusional; I'm not even a Pope guy. I'm just calling out somebody making stupid remarks. All the top teams are spending big money now and you know it. There is no list and there is no reason to respond anymore to me because I know a trouble making troll when I see one. I won't have to put up with any more of your duplicitous trolling since I put you on ignore before you read this.I’m not going to list the 10-15 teams that actually have a shot of winning to appease your delusional ***.
