Too bad. The school's cut of the Nittany Cartel profits could have offset the ticket price increases.

If you want to hang out
You've got to take her out, cocaine
If you want to get down
Get down on the ground, cocaine
She don't lie
She don't lie
She don't lie, cocaine

If you got bad news
You want to kick them blues, cocaine
When your day is done
And you got to run, cocaine
She don't lie
She don't lie
She don't lie, cocaine

If your thing is gone
And you want to ride on, cocaine
Don't forget this fact
You can't get it back, cocaine
She don't lie
She don't lie

She don't lie, cocaine

Shout out to JJ Cale.

Father charged in the coke ring claimed he didn’t know coke and money was in the safe he kept for his son. I was on a jury once when the person charged claimed he didn’t know the bag he was holding for a friend contained coke and the safe which he claimed wasn’t his and contained an illegal machine gun similar to the father claim. If it wasn’t for me, the defendant would have been innocent of all charges but I Realized we were right to found him guilty of some of the charges when about 10-12 police officers showed up when the verdict was announced to protect the jury when they left.

I am so confused on your jury story...

He was on a jury where a guy was charged with a similar thing- the guy claimed he did not know that bag he was holding for a friend contained coke. Also the perp claimed the safe containing an illegal gun was not his safe. Similar flimsy excuse to the Pedd State perp.

True, there were about 12 charges from the DA and the majority of jurors didn’t think the DA proved 100% that he was guilty because he could have been telling the truth. One juror accused me of just wanting to have a guilty charge but I convinced them to find him guilty of 1-2 charges. I felt I was right when the 10 policemen came into the courtroom at the end of the trial in case of some type of violent considering he was probably a gang member.

It was more about the part he is trying to explain down here.

but this also confuses me if you are an impartial juror.

Majority of the jurors didnt feel the DA didn't prove the case. and it sounds like this was true on all counts. But then it sounds like you convinced them that you had to at least get him on 1 or 2 of them regardless because you were influenced by police presence. I mean, I get it- but...that is not how the system is built or supposed to work. The DA has to provide a case and proof that removes all doubt. and words like "probably" should not be a part of any verdict

Well there is no such thing as proving 100% guilty even if you have a witness. The witness could make a mistake so it’s not 100%. It’s all in the wording. The person was in possession of the coke or gun and it didn’t matter if he didn’t know he was in possession. It can be very technical and that why OJ Simpson got away with murder. The other jurors were convinced of my argument, I convinced one and he convinced the others. The jurors verdicts were already made before the cops came into the courtroom. I don’t think 10 cops come into the courtroom for an average defendant maybe they knew he was a gang leader, something we wouldn’t know.
