Just checked Expedia. It's almost too late. If you want anything decent, it'll be $500+ for 2 nights. And then there's the Motel 6 in Moss Point at $73. For 2 nights. Of course this assumes you're still alive for the 2nd night.

Edit: Those are for 1 night. If you want anything decent for 2 nights, it'll set you back a grand.

I'd like to see us go back to Pensacola next fall and play one vs FSU and one vs Auburn or USA.

It was selected for that Oct weekend since all of the football teams have byes that weekend. I understand even the baseball teams are having a hard time booking lodging. They are gonna have to pay premium.

I'd rather play 2 in Biloxi that count. What's wrong with games like vs Tulane, ULL, FSU, or USA in a midweek scenario? Teams that will bring some fans too.

A lot of state/ southern fans on the MS coast and off weekend. Lot of auburn fans in mobile. Off weekend for the teams. I think that all teams will be good this year. I think that it's a good idea. Just unfortunate that it lands on cruising weekend but that might be a plus for many.
