New USM baseball stadium "upgrades"

They need to throw some money at their football stadium. I thought the home side was in bad shape for our first game last year.
That shaded outfield parking looks like a Sonic Drive In.
What's the point of shaded parking as a stadium upgrade???
That might actually be finished in time.
Still the same crappy grandstand? They should scrap the shaded roster parking and invest that money in other aspects of the stadium. The area under their grandstand is puny and the bathrooms are wildly undersized.
I wonder why they still have them. You only see four or five people sitting in them.
noticed that small field area behind CF....wonder if they will divert that creek back there....its a big one and it floods...to be honest that Creek and the next door church is what holds that place back....im sure that has been the two major hurdles from upgrading over the years.
Looks nicer than most stadiums you see come regional time outside of the SEC.
For some reason I'm just not in the mood to make fun of other schools' athletic programs or facilities these days .

OK, I’d like to say something positive here. I realize it’s not as nice as the dude…. But it never will be and they know that. They aren’t competing with us. It’s nicer than at least a third of the SEC baseball stadiums and definitely tops of their conference and most all college baseball stadiums.
what I’d like to steal from theirs and bring to Starkville is the little wiffle ball field in the back. Kids will LOVE that! My kids and tons of others already play wiffle ball in an area inside the stadium behind right field already on a hill. I realize we may build another loft in that exact area but one on the 3rd base side by where they have food trucks some would be awesome, with a screen for the parents checking in.
