I agree with the poster. He just missed the punchline from his tOSU perspective - Tightly contested. Convincingly lost.

But the majority of matches were bonus point wins (5 for PSU, 1 for OSU). And while three of their starters sat, all three then lost to a PSU wrestlers a few weeks later - 1 by pin, one by TF, 1 by 4 points.

And in the three OT matches an OSU wrestler never got a TD. You can say it is close, but are you really ever close to winning if you cannot get a TD?

I guess I see what I want to see too, and it is not closeness.

If a guy is holding down on the mat, you are literally close to him.
