A friend of mine has a son in law who is a professional musician in Nashville, was in Newsong for several years, and one day the son in law was taking the trash out or checking the mail and sees his new neighbor doing the same across the street, and went over to introduce himself.
It was Robert Plant, freshly in town to work on that Alison Krauss collaboration.
He and Jimmy Page and maybe Bonham met Elvis after a show in LA in 1974.
They had requested to meet him while they were there in LA doing a show of their own I think.
