Glad to see I'm not the only one that despises the rope.
As much as I hate a rope hat, my dad had a corduroy State cap with a rope and a Walking Bully logo circa late 1980’s. It was his Sunday/ special occasion cap. At the time I hated it but I’d give anything to have that cap today.
It's wild how my whole life I had been to young to wear rope hats and now suddenly I am too old for them
When did rope hats come back? I’ve gotten a some free hats from different companies lately and about half of them are rope hats.
I blame it on the folks popularizing pickleball & mahjong
I am admittingly old, but I will never understand this. In my day (did I mention that I'm old) this was a sign of disrespect to whatever by flying it upside down.

Can't say but the last time I was in Maroon & Co it seemed like the majority of their stock was ropey.
I am about to have a coffee shop ask me for a **** ton of corduroy caps for their stores. I dont know. I dont like it, but if they think they can sell it to chicks buying iced Chai, more power to them.
Im indifferent to the rope, but have yet to make one for me with a rope. They seem to be "older" set friendly, but i have 17-24 coming in and will buy what looks good to them with zero thought of rope/no rope

Nothing about our football program in any way resembles a blue blood.

I used to fly jets upside down quite often. Didn’t consider it to signify extreme danger to life or property as long as you don’t land them that way.
