We are driving up with friends this time but we did Amtrak last time. What a civilized way to travel

I'm flying into BOS from PHL Thursday morning on 9/10. Piece of cake flight (a little over an hour) compared to the 5 hour flights to LAX and SEA the last 2 years for road trip games for me. Staying until Sunday and catching a Red Sox game on Saturday.

We have a large group staying with us on Cape Cod and are renting a van for the game. Will be tailgating in the Upper Brighton lot which is across the road from the Boston College T station, Green Line B. Got a group ticket package @ $25/ea. at the top of Sec. RR. We’ll be grill’n and chill’n. Note that most lots in Chestnut Hill do not allow tailgating. Lots open 4 hrs before game time.

I take Amtrak to all the home games now (Providence - Metropark). Coach tix are as cheap as $35 for advance purchase. Beats driving on Rt. 95 which can take more than 8 hours in traffic.

Shelby is carpooling to Boston with Finkenstadt and picking up Sheridan in Sturbridge along the way. Vogel can't make this one. Niece's piano recital.
