I worked for Fayette County schools. It’s extremely corrupt.. I worked one year at Brian station no way in hell I would’ve worked multiple years.. one of the guys in our department was full-blown communist and he was an unabashed communist bragged about it to the kids. Bragged about it to get the job. But that’s just the tip of the iceberg. It’s like they want Brian station to be a failing school. Come up with idiot policies of forces teachers to have to decide between holding the line for the principal and doing what’s right for the kids.

Please tell me you didn’t teach English.

My sons went to Bryan Station and barely recovered. They actively attempted to dissuade students from going to 4 year colleges.

Most of the issues with the school system are directly linked to DEI initiatives and hiring.

Didn’t FCPS credit rating get down graded by Moody’s?!

Overall KY education system isn’t great. Not sure why it hasn’t been a priority among law makers to overhaul.

JCPS isn’t much better. Bureaucratic bloat, political BS, unions…

Would like to see Andy use some of that fire and Brimstone he used to get MB scooted on cleaning up something that actually matters and is taking real tax payer money.

Sounds like you would have been a powerful force for good had you stayed but I don’t blame you a bit for getting out. I jettisoned my original plans of being a medieval lit professor for the same crap on a national scale at the next level.
