Last year Charlotte Catholic went 7-5. They lost to Watauga in a tough matchup last season in the 6A playoffs 27-19. They will have a previous head coach Mike Brodowicz from past return as their new head coach again. What will their season look like.

Thats a pretty brutal looking schedule on paper. I could see Catholic winning it all if they make a nice 8 or 9 win season out of this thing.

Good question. Best I could find it has been since 2018 since Charlotte Catholic play Charlotte Country Day. They use to play for Cook Cup. Someone correct if I’m wrong on this. Maybe Catholic fan or someone can answer if they will be playing for Cook Cup.

Coach Broad being back will turn them around quick.... But as long as they got that CatholicCoug14 cat there helping, 4-7 easily...

4-7, hmm. Also easy on CatholicCoug14 there Lion. The "Golden Loins" was probably a Freudian misspelling. ;) Big question marks even with Brodo retaking the reins. He has 5 state championships in 10 years to his name so he knows what he is doing. There is a lot of tradition and Catholic is playing down in 5A/6A a 2nd year after successfully mixing it up with the big boys for a number of years. However, not many cream puffs on the schedule. Ask me again in 2 weeks after a couple of scrimmages. Reluctant to mouth off too much at this stage.

jojr59, he will get my post, Ive been friends with him for years....he knows Im messing around.. Every single time he texts me he says "We would beat the Loins" ha ha ha

D is an awesome young man.............. He texts from time to time just to check on me.

Just found out that Catholic scrimmages West Charlotte 9 am Sat Aug 8 at Keffer. Good thing it is a scrimmage, acid test early. Will find out quickly the strengths and weaknesses of this year's team.

Not often CC football ends up with 5 losses in a season.
