I figured he was just using UK for a higher price from BYU. Really need Mitchell/
If everyone on a message board can figure this out then why waste time talking to him if your the coaches?

I don't know my *** from a hole in the ground, but this seems like he let UK offer him a bigger bag than what BYU had at the start and he's going to see if BYU wants to match.

A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush. I don't know that the staff is willing to hinge the 4 spot on the legal system. But, you may be right. I also think Mitchell is better.
Still you have to talk to him. Some players are scammers and a few are honest.
Got to admire Pope for trying. I read where Koehler parents like Pope. It’s worth a try. Cast a wide net

People complain about Pope when he is not in on a player and now complain that he is and being used lol.
Don't think pope would say that not his style to play poker unless Mitchell has agreed to come to uk if eligible. But if kohlers parents like pope maybe they agreed to wait. Where does kohler's parents live?
Would rather have Mitchell but with his eligibility in question (and things rarely go our way) you definitely take Kohler if he wants to commit. Both are great fits for the roster.

A huge upset if he were to pick UK but getting a chance is a compliment. BYU the home state school is a huge favorite. Maybe he isn’t another one using UK to up his price like Wright and others. Hope not.

By whiff he means he thinks Pope won’t get either Kohler or Mitchell. It’s just scar tissue. I’m fairly optimistic about Mitchell myself.
Yeah i mean, it really doesn’t hurt to take the call. We just need the court to do the thing thst makes sense. Thats it. Not really asking much here. But…college sports
A lot of you folks would be happier if you looked at getting Koehler or Mitchell as a bonus as opposed to a necessity. We are in this situation simply because a judge gave a group of guys we didn’t think would be available another year to play. On paper this team already seems like an improvement over last year. One of these guys just makes us even better.
That’s definitely how I see it. I like the team either way. Way better than last year.
An improvement over last year is a low bar for success sadly. I think everyone knows we need one more high level starter type player to really contend this coming season. Too many teams with better rosters than UK as is. Right now u got a sure fire sweet 16 roster (an improvement for sure from last year) but one of these guys probably makes u a top tier team that is n elite 8 with shot at final four and beyond.
Because NO ONE on this board has figured it out. No one here has enough info to figure it out. This board is like the weird neighbor who wants to give you advice on personal matters solely based on what they see from their window. “I’ll eat crow if I am wrong” is good for dumb message board convos, but does not really make the “advice” any more sound.
Smart fans don’t use the term, if that gives you some perspective.
Oh I know. A lot of “fans” on here just go with whatever narrative they see or hear without actually paying too much attention. Like the ones who claim we should take Kohler and Mitchell and we can just put guys off the team with no problem lol
