Went to Sam’s Club and stopped at Outback after. Had about half a blooming onion, a salad with grilled chicken, that nice warm brown bread with butter, and a blonde ale.
This infatuation with protein has more chicken on the menu that ever before.
And a new Ninja Creami to make protein low cal ice cream of all flavors that if one day it comes out that it'll kill you, I am a gonner.

Beef tacquitos with salsa, beef and beans burritos, bean and cheese burritos, pinto beans topped with grated cheddar cheese and fire taco sauce, taco rice with mild taco sauce topped with grated cheddar cheese, tortilla chips with salsa, unsweetened iced tea, piece of chocolate.
Parmesan crusted chicken, macaroni salad, field peas, lima beans, triple succotash, unsweetened iced tea, orange sherbet.
The filet was the HT Rancher brand which is choice, not prime, but I bought two with decent marbleing. The lobster tails are small, but I bought two. Along with a baked potato, salad, and a bottle of wine, we are set for a nice Friday night supper to kick off the weekend.

I deferred the filets and lobster to Sunday night, so Friday night we just snacked on candied jalapeño pimento cheese and saltine crackers with blueberry pound cake and vanilla ice cream for dessert.
This evening plans are to take in a Wilson Warbirds baseball game with my siblings and spouses, so likely a hot dog and French fries with an overpriced beer.

Did you get any of the little league girls 12U national champions autographs? lol My nephew coaches girls softball at Corinth Holders High School and he led them to the final game, lost 2 of 3 in the state Championship. He received the NC 8A Coach of The Year. Several of these little league girls will be playing for him in a few years.
I did not. I followed them from afar through my old friend and Greenville city councilman, Les Robinson. An awesome accomplishment.

I trimmed up the filet mignon a bit more and it was delicious. The lobster was good, but small.
Lemon Pepper chicken thighs is my new go to when need something good and quick
My wife makes a killer lemon chicken. She uses chicken breast fillets. I am a thigh man myself and might need to get her to try them next time. Thanks for bringing that up.
