I think they really do, especially for Governor. Smart move having a moderate like Jolly and him naming Gwen Graham as Lt Governor pick and on ticket already.

BAU for these lazy establishment types. They think since they are flush with donor cash that they don't have to engage with voters. If they do bother to do anything that involves interacting with the public, more often than not, the event is scripted and tightly controlled.
