One of my all-time favorite players regardless of era. He just had a toughness about him you can't teach. You either have it or you don't.

His two seasons were the Gillispie era. Transferred to Texas State when Cal arrived.

He committed to UK in October of 2006. I remember the crowd that year chanting AJ Stewart at that years Big Blue Madness. Did the same for Patrick Patterson as well.

Somewhere there's a photo of Patterson, Stewart, and Jai Lucas at Keeneland. I remember thinking "Stewart could be a nice role player (ranked like #125th).

I was, and largely still am, an idiot. But that was one of my worst takes.

There’s not much to remember. He was only here briefly and rarely played. A benchwarmer during the Gillespie era before transferring to a little mid-major.

I believe he was one of the stiffs that Cal kicked to the curb when he was hired.

Just talked to Mu last week downtown. He’s a good dude.

i used to talk to Perry once a week, lived in my neighborhood. But I haven’t seen him in a while, so not sure if he moved or what? He also a nice guy.
