….I don’t know if it’s marketing or what, errrrybody fired up. Hope yall are right. If not, it’s gonna be a colossal fall from grace

If anything, our media machine has got things right, I give Sappy Salmunz credit for that. But will we win?

Go watch some replays from last year and focus on the OL. Then look up the guys that left and see they are doing well even starting at new schools. After that realize that Shades Loadholt is still on staff and coaching the OL. Your wool will fall out faster than unwatered Chia plant leaves

True. Everyone sure seems to be sheepy about these FSU guys. All they are talking about is "we look like an SEC team", whatever that means.

Hype machine is spinning wool on overdrive. If we flop again this year the whole machine is going to break down, including Sappy Salmunz

Yeah. Are our old linemen expected to start kicking *** on these other teams? Nah. Are they even on P4 teams?
Lewis starting at Cal, James projected to start at Bama and Work at Missouri

Goat calling people sheep, then banging out words on his keyboard.
Shocked, I tell you.

FYI, your incessant misspelling of dumb nick-names (with an inordinate amount of “z’s”) reminds me of what 4th graders do to the girl they have a secret crush on.
Why you so mad bruh, take it easy

We brought a lot of players into the SEC from a crap ACC team.

If you're expectations are realistic, there's no risk of a let down. We either improve upon last season, or we start over. Not that tricky. Outside a rash of key injuries, I think we improve.

The concerns about the OL are totally legitimate but I went back looked at all the preseason OL line predictions for 2014 . Nobody had our OL picked in the top half of the conference BUT we had this guy named Prescott playing QB and the team rallied around him and boom . I'm not saying Kamario is the next Dak but I am a huge believer in "trickle down" winning and on a football team that starts with having a winning QB who is also a leader . If Kamario is "that guy" (and can stay healthy) I think we can have a break even season with a nice upset or two and at this point the team deserves at least the "benefit of the doubt" .

So, per FPI, we should be 3-9. Guess I will keep my expectations there so anything better will be a pleasant surprise. Hard to be letdown if you are only expecting 3 wins.

FPI projects us to win 4.6 games. Seems about right. We won’t lose all the 40% chance of winning games.

I was just seeing that 9 of our 12 opponents are higher in FPI than we are. In fact, all of our SEC opponents are higher than we are but I guess they are saying we still have some % chance to beat teams ranked higher to get us to 4.6.

Yeah. I think we’ll win 4 or 5 games. Just no idea which 2 or 3 after the ULM & TN Tech games.

Really depends on those transfers. I guess if we had Luke Work back, and the guy that went to Bama, I might could see the similarity. But we're depending on newcomers (thankfully not freshmen). Boone at C is a good thing.

Back in 2014 we could see the improvement, because a lot of them had played as freshmen in 2011, and had grown up. That was a different era of course, and nowadays our dubmass fans want to run off anybody that isn't a star by their second year. That 2014 line had a lot of starts under their belt, and when they left after that season, the line took a significant step back in 2015.

And we'll keep Lenny, no matter what some of these nimrods say.

We'll go 3-9 in 2027 and of course, fire him then. A year late. And yet again be another failed story of a heralded QB over the course of MSU football history, because we didn't have a plan and didn't have the right type of coaching staff in place.

Difference in then and now is our s&c program and oline coach were much better than what we have now.

man i remember being young and reading GP's scuttle bucket back in the late 90s and the wool getting thick....i didnt lose the ability to see through the BS until Moorhead really....i had so much wool on him that there was no way to be wrong.....my prediction of what would happen when Leach left has held up though.....im now officially numb....and throw in there not knowing a damn thing about any of the players bc of the transfer portal, NIL, etc.....the ability for me to get wool for our football program is all but gone, and im not sure it will ever come back...

There is a little hope though that Lebby shocks the world and those three close losses last year flip and we end up 8-4, 9-3 and he wins COY....i gave him a pass in year one, bc there is not a single coach living or dead that could have done better, so to me, this is year 2.
