Would be interesting to learn if Logan came to Rutgers with inherent self-discipline, or if Greg's life after football teachings set Logan on a great path. This is a very long post on X, but worth the read. The comments under the post are mostly positive, but still filled with the usual idiots

It takes a lot of discipline to not get caught up with keeping up with the Jones. The key is how do you define happiness.
Logan Ryan learned early on-the happiest people on earth are those that are happy in themselves. That might sound like a conundrum to some, but if you know you know. Never looking over your shoulder, or at what others have, or having a care in the world what others think about you, the clothes you wear, the car you drive, the place you live in, who you choose to live with or love. These are the happiest people in the world, and they are in the minority.

The NFL should use him to give talks instead of Chris Carter, the moron who told a room full of rookies to have someone in your circle who will take the fall for you when you break the law.

You average NFL player isn't very bright. It's why they are broke at an alarming rate after playing. They spend too much and have people around them that take advantage of them. Saw it up close and personal.

Not sure how the system is unfair as he says, if his brother was given a loan. Seems very fair to me.

At first it was hard to believe not to spend even some salary until I realized that even though, modest by NFL terms- a $500k+ signing bonus was something he most likely could have lived with until his next contract and having some endorsements. Still- major props- way too easy to not be smart with your money

I didn't see any value from sports perspective. I have contacts within the department at the highest levels. I can find out virtually anything I want from that perspective. I was really on there for the CE board. After continually busting some people up there over a long period, it got to be too easy. What pushed it past the due date was Alec whatever his name is made some incredibly incendiary remarks about Charlie Kirk after he was murdered. His apology was even worse. Combine it all, and it was an easy decision. I don't want to put a dime in that guys pocket.

That’s still good advice, though.

Wow how can someone be so insensitive about someone getting shot in cold blood like he did? Yes I was a Charlie Kirk fan but even if I wasn't, I could not ever imagine dancing on his grave. Absolutely terrible

The Savant, an AppleTv show that was made months before the assassination , has been delayed for what now seems infinity. I'm annoyed that a decent piece of art is delayed by some sensitivity of what happened. I didn't wish death on anyone, but I would like to watch an intelligent series that might be tangibly related that looks like it's in release hell.
