I'll start with the best one, the win over Duke in 98.
I believe it was the second round in 2018, Tyler Herro hit a 3 to win the game. Obviously the biggest 3 are Michigan/Louisville/Wisconsin in 2014. Aaron Harrison dagger.I'll start with the best one, the win over Duke in 98.
I was at the Louisville and Michigan games with my dad. The Michigan one in particular we thought we’d lost and didn’t expect him to make that shot at all. Then we all know what happened. It was surreal man.I believe it was the second round in 2018, Tyler Herro hit a 3 to win the game. Obviously the biggest 3 are Michigan/Louisville/Wisconsin in 2014. Aaron Harrison dagger.
I loved that game. One of all time favorite wins. Everything about that game was great.BK really gets overlooked on these historic shots. That osu shot was insane and deserves way more love than it gets considering they were the top overall seed and media darlings.
The game just prior he beat Princeton (I think) with a last second floater that had a high degree of difficulty.
He was literally THE difference between a first round exit and a final four.
Yeah I was working in the swamps of the Francis Marion NF for that. Got back to the truck and tuned the game in for the last few minutes. Similar story for the WV game in that tournament too. BK saved out bacon in that game, too.BK really gets overlooked on these historic shots. That osu shot was insane and deserves way more love than it gets considering they were the top overall seed and media darlings.

Loved that one. Herro was so clutch at the end.Houston 19
I think we did at least briefly. It was back and forth down the stretch. Towns with clutch bucket after bucket. He was unstoppable in that game. I remember they hit a 3 at one point to put them up like 5 or 6 with maybe 4 or 5 minutes to go in the game. And I just got this sick feeling in my stomach that was the end of the ride. First time that year I felt like we were going to lose.Did we trail Notre Dame in the final minute in 15? It was close.
Obviously Aaron Harrison was the focal point but Marcus Lee was amazing in thatMichigan 2014 is very hard to top, given the stakes.
One of the most fun tournaments ever dude. I wish we would have stole that tourney. Should have won that final. The call by Nance really sealed that in history.I was at the Louisville and Michigan games with my dad. The Michigan one in particular we thought we’d lost and didn’t expect him to make that shot at all. Then we all know what happened. It was surreal man.
Yeah Knight was a baller and balled out that tourney. I will always have a soft spot for him and that team ending our drought.BK really gets overlooked on these historic shots. I was thinking of that , it was razor close all game. Towns dominated that second half.Did we trail Notre Dame in the final minute in 15? It was close.
That UAB loss hurt so bad. I loved that team. Plus I was on a cruise in the middle of the Carribean in a huge sports bar on the ship watching the games. I think I was the only Kentucky fan there and they all cheered that a number one seed lost. It was terrible.Should’ve been UAB 04 and MSU the year after
Yep. Especially considering how that 2003 team lost in the EE to Marquette. Our best player and our senior leader just really couldn’t go in that game. He “went” but he just wasn’t the same, after that ankle injury that season. IMO, that made that 2004 loss to UAB sting that much more! That UAB loss hurt so bad. I loved that team.
Then the elite eight he hit some 3 daggers late against UNC, with Liggins hitting the monster 3 from the corner.BK really gets overlooked on these historic shots. That osu shot was insane and deserves way more love than it gets considering they were the top overall seed and media darlings.

That toe on/off the line was the most looked at thing by UK fans since that door in Memphis. Then the elite eight he hit some 3 daggers late against UNC, with Liggins hitting the monster 3 from the corner.
And a wasted loss too, got obliterated against Kansas next game. Our team just wasn’t on the floor that day. A potentially good matchup with GT blown tooThat UAB loss hurt so bad. I loved that team.
I got absolutely hammered off $30 pitchers of beer on my cruise lol. It was not all inclusive lol.Yep. Especially considering how that 2003 team lost in the EE to Marquette. Never forget being absolutely TWEAKED outthat night with my Baby Momma, (ex). We had a great evening planned for after the big win. Needless to say, we didn’t expect a loss. We still had a decent time. However, that loss put a damper on things.
Yeah GT went to the final four that year too. Crazy run.And a wasted loss too, got obliterated against Kansas next game. Our team just wasn’t on the floor that day. A potentially good matchup with GT blown too
Yeah GT went to the final four that year too. Crazy run.
That would be 20 seconds of sticklerness. LolNot to be a stickler but we didn’t trail Duke in the final minute in 1998.
we did, however, trail St. Bonnaventure in 2000 before Tayshaun Prince hit a huge three with about ten seconds to go to force OT.
Yes until Harrison made the 2 free throws in the end. UK should have lost that game. They were outplayed.Did we trail Notre Dame in the final minute in 15? It was close.
Yes good callDid we trail Notre Dame in the final minute in 15? It was close.
Are you talking about Patrick sparks vs msu for the ff?That toe on/off the line was the most looked at thing by UK fans since that door in Memphis.
Was tied then Harrison hit 2 FTs to take the lead before the block shot of the 3 by ND at the buzzerDid we trail Notre Dame in the final minute in 15? It was close.
Drubbed UConn early in the year in an exhibition if I remember correctly. Then UConn returned the favor in the championship gameYeah GT went to the final four that year too. Crazy run.
OSU and GT was no slouch eitherMade it to the title game. Of course the real title game was uconn vs Duke n semifinals.
Haha! I was on a cruise during that exact game as well! I was on an excursion at the time and came back and heard they had lost and I did not believe it, then I saw highlight of the guy throwing the ball behind his head to the other end of the floor and I lost my sh*t!That UAB loss hurt so bad. I loved that team. Plus I was on a cruise in the middle of the Carribean in a huge sports bar on the ship watching the games. Don't forget Sparks toe against Michigan State. That toe on/off the line was the most looked at thing by UK fans since that door in Memphis.
Why? That call went in our favor. There was no controversy about it.Don't forget Sparks toe against Michigan State.
Did you accidentally post in the wrong thread? This reply makes absolutely no sense under the context of the statements. Why? That call went in our favor. There was no controversy about it.
