What other exhibitions will we schedule? I wonder if it’ll be good teams like Purdue last year?

That last sentence is gold! Anyway, I read last night that we are playing an exhibition game against Texas Tech and another Big 12 school.

That was my thought the first time I saw them listed as an opponent. Up until a few years ago, they were still playing college teams, albeit NAIA's and D2's.

For nobody wondering, they were a Christian ministry of sorts. I think at halftime one of their players would give a speech about Christ. I remember they came to my high school for an assembly.

Little Rock is Pope continuing to support/show love to former Cats who are coaching and getting them on the schedule. Travis Ford is the Little Rock coach. He gets another Rupp homecoming. I don't mind using the "extra" exhibitions for that one, especially with still scheduling two big ten teams.

I had totally forgotten Travis Ford got hired there. I was thinking Darrell Walker was still the coach there.

Thank you! I remember hearing about his playing career, but I wasn't a fan of the game then. I do remember him coaching the Raptors in the 90s and then he lead Little Rock to the OVC Championship game a few years ago losing to Morehead State.
