Received my "Anticipated Seat Contribution" invoice for 2027 from BC yesterday. Part of me admires them since their FY begins July 1, part of me is like dang, WTH.

Thankfully, I don’t need an invoice to let me know what my anticipated contribution will be. The math is pretty easy.

Got mine too. Was thinking, “WTH?!? I just renewed my season tickets a few months ago??” Then finally noticed that the “due date” is just under a year from now. Interesting approach.

I guess you can look at it two ways. Being on the ball, or just trying to pull a fast one on everybody. I feel it is the latter. There is no sense in hounding folks literally a couple of months after they had to fork over thousands for an overpriced product. Seems greedy and deceptive at the same time.

Athletic departments are being run like the rest of corporate America now. All in for the current quarter and figure out how to go all in on the next quarter when it gets here.

Maybe they are trying to collect as much as possible for 2027 before these football and basketball seasons unfold and ruin contributions? Just a guess....................
Season ticket sales (and required BC donations) should go up in Dec/Jan either way. Either there’s excitement about a winning season or excitement about a new coach. Unless we completely 17 up the hire & wind up with another uninspiring coach.

Shaking the bushes for that new sound system in 2027.

Yeah we need that to go with that exciting new light system.

NOTHING will be exciting about football in that stadium until they start winning. All the bells, whistles, internet improvement from AT&T, new premium seating areas, 4 tickets and parking for $48, new cooler to the touch quick dry band uniforms (I just made that up) etc etc won't mean jack shat if the stadium has 20,000-30,000 people in it and we're still going 2-10 or 5-8

It's a chicken or the egg convo.

Our stadium experience (regardless of the outcome) is Sun Belt level. Recruits show up to games and see it.

People that don't think lights and sound are a big deal, don't travel to away games and just bury their heads in the sand.

"Just win and the rest fixes itself" won't happen.
