Met him on a private golf course on Maui. He was bare foot and wearing a black Piai T-shirt like his buddy Willie Nelson wears. He owned half the town of Piai! The card games those guys put together are legendary with Kris Kristofferson Sammy Hagar, some of the Doobie Brothers and other local musicians and Tattoo artists. He was quite friendly and talkative. He could really coach, but never won a world championship.
