If they’re on campus they’re back. This is good news.
There’s no way we could screw this up now. Oh wait, forgot who we’re dealing with here for a minute.
Yea, I think this is far from a done deal. It might go to court and who knows what happens. The process has just started
Who going to take this to court this late? It will be pushed off until after the season. I think it is done.
I am sure there is a good reason, but why just now are we starting this process?
We will get the UM judge that let Chambliss get another year for a head cold and shut us down

There is a chance but the NCAA isn't going down w/o a fight. Technically they are legal to play, but if the NCAA wins on appeal, they immediately become ineligible.

True. But since when has the ncaa win an appeal? And the truth is this ruling was right. You can’t give everyone 5 years up to an age limit except one class. NCAA won’t win this.
Colorado judge just ruled on it today. Technically couldn't start process until ruling. I'm sure they had the plan in place for the guys to be on campus after the ruling.
So we lose 24 scholarships and forfeit 8 games in 2027 for this?
As soon as Manning & Sylla showed interest after the judge's ruling State started it.
They're also actively restructuring the roster, which isn't the easiest thing to do.
This has been handled well by Selmon & Lebby.
Lebby's got it figured, a little more than that, but yeah point taken.
Just not used to things aligning & going our way, but danged if they don't look good.
That’s been going on for decades. 85 man roster or 105. If we’re full & we can bring in a player who can contribute, we’ll dang sure figure out who we can cut.
So what does this mean for us? Just more depth? Or does it significantly upgrade us? I assume Manning will be penciled in as a starter and Sylla coming off the bench? Or does Sylla possibly fit better in Arnett's scheme?
And the coaching staff will be prohibited from wearing shorts on the sideline for a season
Sylla was one of our better pass rushers last year and really was coming into his own before the end of year. He had 7 tackles for loss last year. Him, Whitson, and Williams gives us some serious speed, physicality and ability at the edge position. Hearing good things on some other edges as well.
Manning gives more depth. Getting Sylla back would be massive.
Amazing how tone and morality opinions change when State benefits from things everyone else is doing.
I wonder who the 2 guys are that get the boot. Im sure it won't be hard to find 2 guys that are not gonna contribute or develop. They have a guy that just moved from qb to safety. The roster shows one or two seniors that haven't seen the field to my knowledge. Its a shame they dont just provide a one year exemption. Having them back is a plus plus tho.
Pure speculation but I imagine the collective might pay them their scholarship to make it right.
I’m too lazy to look it up, but is there somewhere that indicates if we have a full roster of 105?
Internet says 89 but aint no way thats right. I count 114 on the roster per MSU site. Not sure how many scholarships tho
