I have 2 questions before I can formulate an informed answer.
1. How much longer will TnT coach? It won't happen under their regime.
2. Are they willing to look outside the program for their next coach? It might never happen if they can't adapt.

I really think they'll win a title next year. Losing Kennedy Blades hurts but they've added some other talent.
Iowa is a women's wrestling school now. The men are a lost cause and not any more worthy of discussion than Illinois or Wyoming.

I said 5-10, but it doesn't really matter to me. My focus is entirely on the appreciation of the PSU and NLWC wrestling programs. What they've accomplished is remarkable, and I am just enjoying it as much as possible.

How many more years of Brands? I think his contract is up in 2029.
I know Iowa fans want to fire him but reality is it's probably challenging doing that, probably owing Brands some kind of buyout and then losing your biggest donor in the process. Also Brands ended on somewhat of a high note last year with 7 AAs. And while it's technically not Iowa Wrestling directly, I imagine if Spencer wins a world gold medal, that reflects well on him since firing Brands also probably means he leaves HWC and Spencer might effectively be a free agent.
Iowa is investing very heavily in football obviously but then they have a really good thing going in MBB with McCollum and they want to keep the momentum with WBB.

83% chance of finishing 4th every year. I think time has passed the Brands brothers and with more programs rising very quickly I would say zero while they are at the helm.
Weary of Iowa talk. Yes, it DOES get old. I’ll always go to the PSU - Iowa dual, but, they really don’t rate any more attention than Nebby, MeatChicken or TanningBedU. They slipped over the peak long ago. They are relevant but not special.
There's a lot working against Iowa. They wont win anything under TnT. If not for Spencer Lee, they probably wouldnt even be there still. They now have to sit and watch oSu become the shiny new toy in college wrestling and possibly/probably actually challenge PSU. So they arent going to simply catch one program (PSU), now it will be two....and oSu is old money. They have completely screwed themselves IMO and they have absolutely zero momentum. Im not even sure how much Spencer becoming HC does for them at this point and that's not something happening any time soon. They are at least a decade out and probably need Cael to retire and we make a misstep in his replacement.
As Cael and DT have proved, it takes one hire and one benefactor. Iowa isn’t winning anything again under TnT, but they can quickly be back as a challenger after they’re gone if done right.

I think TnT just need another double recruiting class like in 2008, and then they're ship will come in
Spencer named head coach won’t do much. He lacks gravitas and self control. Even with a gold medal, he’ll have nothing setting him apart from the other coaching big dogs except for his tiny stature, high pitched voice and love of Pokémon.
He’ll be successful in recruiting lightweights, but that’s par for the course with the program under Brands.
