If its this week, its going to be an sec big ten joint effort to save college sports.
For the better of the sport it needs a massive reset, as in lock-out.

What does lock out mean to you? You want the players or the coaches to strike and not play a part of the upcoming season?

361 teams play in NCAA DIVISION 1 Basketball Tournament if you include the Conference Tournament Championships.
Just like every High School team in Ky gets a chance to go to the Ky Sweet Sixteen because of District & Regional Tournaments.
The selection committee is going to meet on the Sunday after the last regular season game and pick the top 33 teams first.
The teams that don’t get picked are the only ones that get to play in their conference tournaments to determine the 31 conference championship bids.
On the selection Sunday tv show, all the 64 team’s names are put in a big hopper and the committee chairman will draw them out randomly to set the tournament bracket.

Yep, it was announcing a college basketball published guide last year, IIRC. I'm sure it is similar this year.
The NCAA is going to use AI to create its tournament pairings starting in 2027.
