I met Royce White when he was in college. He’s actually a pretty cool dude. The guy is a total beast. He is seriously just as big and massive as he’s listed as on a stat sheet. When he shook my hand, it literally felt like it was being crushed inside a vise grip. And I am a big dude myself (nowhere close to Royce’s size obviously).
Funny thing, too, when we were chatting near the sideline casually yakking it up, he was hitting Caitlin Clark logo 3s one after the other. At the time, I thought the guy was a lock to have a stellar NBA career. Unfortunately, which I didn’t know about at the time, his anxiety disorder was so bad that he was never able to overcome it enough to stick in the League.
