And I am not talking athletic talent. Just saw an interview with Coleandra where he was asked about UNLV. Said nothing negative. Had praise and appreciation for his former coach who he called a father figure. Spoke of how difficult it was to leave there. In other words, he said all the right things. He said the things a mature person says. What a humble and decent person says.
Compare that to Raiola’s immature smack talk about Nebraska cornfields and our lack of talent. Even if you think that, out of gratitude for the $millions we gave him and the love we showed him, he should have kept his mouth shut or just mouthed platitudes about being “grateful but it was time to move on”. He said the things instead that an arrogant and immature person says.
I also wonder if the Raiola family as a whole hasn’t poisoned the wells with bitterness. We did fire his uncle after all.
