Billy just did a concert in Charleston wv. For some reason he got into town early. Went to a local dive bar where many go after Mountain Stage live performances to jam. Billy sat in w a bunch of locals n played w them a long time I thought that was cool

Friday (8/7) was the birthday of the late, great, Herb Reed. He was not a founding member (he joined within a year of the loose organizing), but was the person that named the group, and was with the band when they had their greatest success. The band was The Platters. To celebrate:

Friday (8/7) was the birthday of the late, great, Kerry Chater. He was the bassist, and a founding member, of The Union Gap featuring Gary Puckett. He was with the group when the group's name was changed to Gary Puckett & The Union Gap. To celebrate:
